Our residency program actively participated in SIPHA 2025, held in Riyadh at Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City’s Malfa Hall. Our involvement included a dynamic Residency Showcase Booth, a poster presentation by one of our residents, and a spotlight talk at The Stage by our Chief Resident, highlighting the evolving role of pharmacists in clinical trials.
Showcase Booth
Our Residency Showcase Booth at SIPHA 2025 gave attendees a comprehensive look into our training program, research output, and collaborative learning environment. Visitors engaged with our residents, explored informational materials, and viewed a video presentation introducing our clinical and academic journey.
Resident Poster Presentation
Our resident, Dr. Nawaf Alqahtani, showcased his research at SIPHA 2025 with a poster presentation titled “Effect of Montelukast on Delirium in Patients Requiring Ventilation: A Retrospective Cohort Study.”
His study focused on evaluating whether the use of Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, could reduce the incidence of ICU delirium in mechanically ventilated patients.
This presentation emphasized our commitment to advancing pharmacy practice through resident-led, outcomes-based research.
