Dr. Shahad Al-Mahmoud

Dr. Shahad Almahmoud holds two Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees: one from the University of Health Science and Pharmacy (UHSP) - Saint Louis, Missouri (2021) and another from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh (PNU) - Saudi Arabia (2015). She also completed a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (2024) and a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Tufts Medicine - Melrose Wakefield Hospital (2023). Her recent positions include Clinical Pharmacist at Saratoga Hospital Medical Group Primary Care Clinics (August 2023 - August 2024) and Clinical Pharmacist at Albany Medical Center, Division of Rheumatology (August 2023 - August 2024). She also served as an Adjunct Pharmacy Instructor at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed a Pharmacy Teaching Certificate (2022-2023). Her research experience includes serving as a Principal Project Manager for multiple Collaborative Drug Therapy Management Program Agreements for diabetes and continuous glucose monitoring, and research as a Principal Investigator on "Clinical Practice Patterns, Rilonacept Appropriate Use for Recurrent Pericarditis" and the "Evaluation of Anti-Xa-Guided versus aPTT-Guided Management of Intravenous Unfractionated Heparin Infusion".
