Dr. Rahaf Al-Qahtani

Dr. Rahaf Ali Alqahtani obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the College of Pharmacy, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) (2019), and completed both a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency (2021) and a PGY-2 Critical Care- Pharmacy Residency (2022). She is a Clinical Pharmacist, Critical Care at King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital (KASCH) and King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh (KAMC-CR) (since 2023). She also holds a leadership role as the Deputy Program Director for the Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY-2) at KAMC-CR (since 2025). She is heavily involved in the education of future pharmacists as the Deputy Program Director for the PGY-2 Critical Care Residency and a member of The Experiential Program Unit at KSAU-HS. Her research is focused on Critical Care topics, including pharmacological thromboprophylaxis in the elderly and the management of iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome in critically ill patients.
